  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

The Epic 700 Reel... Now online.

How are people still comparing film to this? This footage is insane. Was there even one pixel's worth of noise in this whole reel? :w00t:

heh heh.. and your just looking a 1/5th the resolution and a web H.264....
 
Wow... I'm impressed. The aerial shots were sublime but also brilliantly executed by the pilot and camera operator.

The imagery produced by the filmmakers involved is quite beautiful but
the technology behind it all.... That this is what digital cinematography has become.

I'm not into trophies and trinkets but the industry and the greater engineering and technology societies
need to recognize what has been accomplished.

Before 2006, I thought its would take until about 2015 or later before technology like the RED ONE existed.
To see what the EPIC is doing now makes it that much more amazing.

I appreciate that you (RED) exist and do what you do.

I hope you'll do a reel for Scarlet too...because I want an EPIC-X now and I can't afford it and this reel is insane ! ^^'
 
Wow... the passing of Jarred's epic between the bikers got an almost too loud burst of laughter from me.

Any chance to get this reel as a Sequence of DPX's? I would LOVE to show it to all our clients in our DI suite, would be great motivation to bring em back from shooting prores with that OTHER camera.
 
Really nice reel, superb and original. It´s a great idea make a reel with "real" material filmed by M users to show "real" Camera and the music score........rocking.
