  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

300fps test

Congratulations. You're first!
Was waiting for this to pop up.

Good on you that you didn't do liquids.

This looks kind of very useable!

Cheers

Congratulation!

Stefan,
Congrats on being the 1st here with 300fps.

I can play this clip back and forth very smoothly, like it's a high-bitrate footage suitable for editing.
Yet I see in the details that you encoded it to 17.5 Mbps.

Can you please tell us what you used to encode this clip? and what settings did you use?
This is very interesting.

Thanks

Wondering why, "good on you that you didn't use fluids" means...

He probably meant that everyone shoots slow mo water bursting or splashing. Very monotonous. There's many things you can shoot at 300fps but people always seem to do water...

I was just changing from default Quicktime settings of H.264, quality to best and encoding to multi-pass.

Wow, what a fire!
Thanks for post,
Vico
