  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Stanley Cup Playoffs Begin!

57 minutes left till game time, i am on set and it's great to be shooting, but the clock is ticking so slowly....let's go bruins.....
 
]something some of you will appreciate. i am on location doing promos for adam corrola's new show on fox. we are shooting with epic, but not mine. i want to watch this game but the tv is in another room. i have my epic on a shelf connected to ac power with a bnc cable coming to my cart and i am watching the game via a live feed from the other room being shot with my epic on the red 18-50.

not what i originally had in mind when i bought it, nor is it the greatest use, but it works great for this task....thank god i brought it as a backup body

i hope you can appreciate my desperation to watch since the 3 links on atdhenet.tv was not working. i watched the pregame show on versus thru atdhenet.tv, then switched over to NBC and it did not work. i was frantically loading drivers and searching for other links. the house was this amazing contemporary house in bel air with flat screens everywhere except in the room where i was...after 10 mins of not watching the first period...i came up with my solution...funny thing is 2nd and 3rd period worked on adthenet.tv so i watched both.
 
one game, all the marbles, name on the cup for generations. who will win.

bruins 3 canucks 2 ot - recchi game winner.
 
Great series ...I worked the Boston side last night, then flew to NJ for a 3D feature at the Izod center.
The Cameras in Boston were LDK 6000's and one Sony Super Mo, all with 86x lens...
The crew is on charter now to BC and will reset the entire truck and cameras for the game Wednesday...this is a fantastic NBC sports crew and I am happy to work with them anytime....Cameras for BC will be the Ikegami 3 chip CMOS cameras....Best crew and one of the best video engineers to ever...if you watch SNF he's the guy making all those cameras look great!

Game Seven should be one of the best ever, and this crew is deserving of an Sports Emmy!
 
You and the crew have done an excellent Job, David. I watched, from the Georgia St. overpass, Vancouver, as truckloads of gear were being set up. The amount of technology and manpower involved is spectacular.

Go Canucks Go.
 
Good job David. Great live crews are impressive. Must be a heck of a lotta fun, kinda like theater.

All I am hoping for is a last second tie for some OT insanity. Both teams deserve to win for different reasons.
 
Thanks for the props guys...I'm a very small part of a large group of road warriors that work hard under shrinking budgets and timelines to do more with less...
The main crew that traveled out to BC went to bed at 2AM Monday night in Boston...boarded the NHL charter for an 8AM Tuesday departure from Logan to land in BC and start building the show from scratch because of a venue conflict....no doubt these pro's will be ready for air Wednesday !

No worries. I've had butterflies all day, almost as if I'm playing in the game tonight. 4 hours until game time. All I ask for is a great hockey game. If one of the teams comes out and lays an egg, it will be a bit disappointing. And of course, I want the bruins to win, I just want it to be a classic game.
 
There will be copious amounts of beer consumed across the country....starting in about an hour. The nation is getting its drink on!

I still believe Boston will steal it...stay tuned.
