I can see a defocus smile back there from another lucky Epic-M owner :-)
Congrats to you Erich!

Love the way the Ultra Primes look on this camera. Great photo - congrats! :)

Anthony, Yes! The Ultra/Epic are perfect together!

The speed/size/weight/quality of the Zeiss Ultra's is about right (till the Leica's begin to show up). Most of the larger and faster lenses are huge on the Epic and takes away much of the advantage of the smaller-scale of this camera. I suspect the big boys.... Master primes, Cookes s4-5, Red Primes, etc will become less popular. The Optimo Rouge zooms, Cooke Pancro's, Ultra's, Leica's, and other smaller lenses will be the "go to" prime sets for Epic, specially since the "Super Speed" needs have significantly diminished with these new faster sensors. Shooting below 1.9 can be dicey and the Ac's will be much happier with out those 1.4 lenses in the kit.

Erich and the guys at Dc-camera are great to work with. Recommended if you are in the DC metro area.
