  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

"The Clutch" Shoulder Rig

Can anyone tell me if you can off set the arms (to the left or right), so the handles are directly in front of my shoulders and not off to the side? Some hand held rigs allow for this (all star, zacuto, ronford) and it's quite convenient being that a camera's on either the right or left shoulder. By offsetting, not only is it less strain on the arms and better balanced by it makes your profile more narrow which is handy for those tight locations.

That is pretty damn sweet. Don't have the paper to throw at it, especially considering not knowing what other goodies are coming out...

Mouthwatering still. Shouldn't buy something just because its sexy though (that goes for ladies of the night too) :)

Ned, that is the beauty of this system - total flexibility. You can used the jogged Dogbones to shift where the handles end up on a horizontal axis. If you are going to be at NAB, come watch Matt do his hardware demo....

You haven't seen a fraction of what Matt has up his sleeve.

I know that Brent, that is why I give Red cart Blanche, don't even ask, just charge to my account anything Matt makes and ship out... he he. The Clutch is with us in our Epic American Tour pics soon... ;)

I'm with Ketch! I ordered 2 (1 for each Epic) and also snagged a plate for my R1 M-X. I fell in love with this LAST year at REDUSER PARTY - VEGAS.

Brent. Would be so cool to be able to use funds in our account to pay, as a 3rd payment option. Instead of having to email our Bomb Reps. ;) Thanks!

Just ordered a pair of clutches. (that sentence sounds wrong somehow) any ideas when they should ship? Ie do they go out post NAB?

Mine is on the FEDEX truck out for delivery tomorrow morning but I ordered among the very first ones when it came live in the store a week ago. I was surprised to have it that rapidly. Won't complaint, every mail I receive from my Bomb Squad is a surprise (the EVF ? the SSD's ? the Clutch ? ) ....

I reveived my "Ready to ship" email yesterday....but I did order on the first day they were in the shop....but I am still waiting on the SSD, the SSD Module and the Bomb EVF as well....

Ned, I think you can take flip the Dogbones so that they go in any direction. The ones that come with the Clutch look liked the jogged version, so you should be able to position them any way you like. The other thing you can do is get more dogbones an make longer handles.

Cheers!

The Clutch rocks!!
