4 Emmy ® Awards for Wildlife Documentary Shot on Red.

Hi guys,

I just want to share the news that my latest documentary “Wild View” earned 4 Emmy® Awards of 7 nominations at the 34th National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences-New England Chapter, Including Outstanding Photography-Program, Outstanding Director-Post Production, Outstanding Audio and Outstanding Musical Composition.

The awards were completely unexpected. So, I am very happy to get this little recognition.

75% of the doc was shot on Red One... Thanks Red for creating this wonderful camera!!!

Thanks Richard!! Patience is something, I believe, I hold very well. I started shooting the project in 2007 BR, some sequences are the result of three consecutive years.

Great! For what its worth, I have worked with a few of the TV stations here, and NHK has always been good to me. They are forwards looking and always seem to be seeking new and original projects.

As you know, I judge multiple national Emmy competitions each year - News & Documentary, Sports, Daytime. I also judge several regional Emmy competitions ( no, I don't judge for the New England Chapter). I can totally see why you got seven nominations and won four Emmys for "Wild View". Again...excellent work my friend.

Thank you Steve! Yes, this year the competition was tough, surprisingly the documentaries nominated were very high quality. I am very stunned to get all this Awards.
We will see what happens at the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film festival... Do you still assisting I guess? Thanks again!

Yes, very long and very cold days!!! Some bobcat and bald eagle scenes were shot for long period of time in middle of the winter with temperatures colder that the Antarctic. But, as you know, that is the only way how we can shoot wildlife documentaries in the wild.
