Hi everybody,
i need your help. I'm shooting with a Red One MX today but i have a little problem. I don't have a RED operator :s
When i shoot, my quicktime is black. I can see the R3D with RedCine but impossible to look the different quicktime.

After, how i can be sur if my RED records the audio from my mic?

Help !!!

If you can see the R3D either in camera playback, or via RedCineX, you'll be fine.

If you plug in some headphones, you can listen to the audio. Also, the audio meters display their levels - just be sure to turn on the channels that you want recorded.

I check this faster !! it's strange for quicktime completely black no ?

most probably you must install RED FINAL CUT STUDIO 3 INSTALLER

Provides native REDCODE media (R3D) support for Final Cut Pro and Color. Includes: RED QuickTime codec (v4.4.0), Log and Transfer plug-in for FCP (v30.3.0), REDCODE plug-in for Color (v4.4), and Final Cut Studio RED workflow whitepaper.

Note:
Supports RED ONE cameras up through Build 30.

find it at

hope this helps

The other thing to look at is your rgb controls. In the past i had them faulty showing 0 across the board, which of course resulted in a black proxy. just adjust them in redcine and then regen the proxies.
