Abundant Productions is filming the first 16 pages of a visually stunning feature film with an intriguing storyline called Stop Requested -- a metaphysical suspense thriller -- at the end of May. Several heavy-hitting crew are attached to the film, including well-known SFX artist Tim Everitt (Pirates of the Caribbean III, The Last Samurai and many more), and Academy-Award winning special effects makeup artist Brian Sipe (Benjamin Button, Syriana and others). And our DP has a film in the Seattle International Film Festival 2011.

We are seeking a free or reduced rental on an EPIC for the dates of May 27-30 to film in Seattle. We will use the final product as a pitch piece for our feature and also as a short for additional exposure. Plus, we've got "ins" with distributor contacts for the film we're working with now. Our top 10 reasons for believing this is a win/win situation for your business and Abundant Productions is included in our production packet, available upon request.

We're offering substantial marketing and media opportunities from our end, and a finished film product on the EPIC by or before fall 2011 that you can use to further highlight EPIC as the amazing product it is, and your business as THE place to go to rent and/or chase it.

Check us and Stop Requested out at indiegogo.com/stoprequested and/or abundantproductions.biz

Hi Lorraine,

Welcome to Red User! You will find here information and many Red Users happy to help and lend advice. Although I don’t believe you will find any Epic free of charge, since all Epic-Ms are in highly demand. I do recommend contacting a rental house or an owner directly and or post on the for hire section as suggested by Ketch. Have you considered shooting your project on Red? Will be cheaper, easy to find a camera and an image with superb measured 4K quality.

Why not just shoot it on a Red-M? I'm sure it's a lot easier to get a Red-M for free rather than an expensive, in-demand Epic-M.

Good luck with that.

So, you want someone with a handmade, $60,000 dollar camera in ridiculous demand, to give it to you for free so your production will look good enough for someone to finance it, and make you money? Welcome to the film biz. Personally, requests like this make me feel queasy. Maybe someone with an Epic will feel differently? Hopefully not, because I hope they're getting plenty of paid hire work to recoup their investment. That, for the record, is a 'win win' for owners.

looking for free house, preferably with an ocean view. will take photos of me living in the house, so you can use one day when you want to sell it or rent it to someone.. showing off how amazing it is to live in the house.

Guys, deserved or not (definitely deserved :p), "don't thread crap" is one of the only rules on this subforum...
