REDucation elevates to a new level in May.
EPICs and a few Scarlets will make full appearances at the next REDucation, the 3rd week of May at RED Studios Hollywood.
Students will work in one of our RED Studios sound-stages and shoot both RED ONE and EPIC (along with some Scarlet) around the lot and on stage, and then be invited into our theater to screen the material they have shot on our 40 foot movie screen with 4k projection. Enrollees will learn from industry experts and have an opportunity to work with the latest tools for Cinematography and Post Production in a hands on, immersive fashion.
As many of you know, Ted spearheads the class and is happy to answer any questions here. This time around we are modifying the class to make it more flexible for the many types of students and working professionals that want to learn RED from RED...
We will be hosting a 3 Day class to start things off and get you fully up to speed on RED for production and post, and then a group of 2 day breakout session style classes with a focus on Cinematography, Post Production and 3D... you can choose to take just the 3 day class, any one of the 2 day classes, or both the 3 Day and a 2 day class if you would like to spend the week with us getting the full experience.
This structure helps both those coming from overseas or out of town that would like to be here for the full week and also those that are local or a short plane flight away that would like to just take one of the special track courses for 2 days, and may not have a week of dedicated time.
These classes typically fill up fast,* the 3 day class is limited to 50 participants and each of the 2 day special track classes are limited to 25 students each. *if you want more info on how to get registered, click on the registration link from here: ***http://www.red.com/learn/reducation
