This just probably lost them a DaVinci sale to us. I was really interested in using it for EDL -> Clip output for VFX. Now I can do it for free with the lite version.

This just probably lost them a DaVinci sale to us. I was really interested in using it for EDL -> Clip output for VFX. Now I can do it for free with the lite version.

But you have to wonder how many people it will introduce to Resolve who might then get the full software.

I think it's pretty sad that they removed Jim's thread from this morning where he called out a certain camera company. And then they also removed a thread where someone was asking what happened to Jim's thread. If the CEO of the company says something they should stand by it and not just retract it on the sly and remove all trace of it. At least replace it with an explanation why it was removed ..... ?
