  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

1st EPIC Underwater Shoot...looking for a pool!

I'll raise ya, I'm a stocking dealer for Ocean Reef (comm and full face masks) and stocked up just before the end of last year - you might have me on the snorkels though :smile:

PS: I even have the underwater cell phone unit!

Our intention is definitely a much more compact housing than a re-purposed Red One housing...one engineered from the ground up for Epic.

Gibby, can't thank you enough for the opportunity to use R1 SN0008 to make that first underwater housing, and it's greatly appreciated with the Epic-M too.
 
Hey Michael...I actually have the ocean reef unit, how much for comm unit and the topside unit? Renting is possible? this would be very helpful.

ok....now you pushed me to the wall......My dads a tv repairman and i'll have him calibrate the onset monitors for FREE...top that!

Well, my dad was an engineer for large industrial air conditioning systems, so unless their pool needs a new rooftop unit I think you have me beat - I'm throwing in the towel (so to speak).
 
Summer's a wonderful person extremely smart and crazy beautiful, she studied Entomology in school.

I had the opportunity to shoot her for an environmental doc I'm helping Jeff Gibbs finish. We filmed her doing a photo shoot using environmentally correct materials that had a S&M theme. She's intense that way. Anyway please say hello from us for me, or if you need an extra set of hands, I'm in NYC, know Summer already and have the day free.

My rate is 10% less than Michael's and I'm dressed ready for action...:dita:

Back on topic...Still looking for UW comm to a top side setup, anyone has one for rent in the NYC area then let me know. Thanks again for the support. Keep in mind...Summer will be joining this thread. Cheers

CH....would GLADLY be available with my u/w & topside comms and any other gear, but geographically not feasible. La Paz to NY is beyond my reach when you have some very close by options. Now, that said, doors always open in case you do need assistance.i think Mike is on set with you and i'd suppose he has comms...yes mike?

CH I have that stuff, ketch could bring it up and you could ship it back. Call me and we'll work something out.

I just noticed your earlier post. I can sell or rent - I have a couple demo units that were only used once on a music video Frazier and I did a few months ago, - would sell for just a few percent over dealer or I have brand new units as well.

Actually, it would be fun but I'm putting off some other in process work to work on thle epic housing so really should get back to it right after Ketch leaves, so can't make that trip anyway.
 
Michael, Thanks again for making this all possible and your continued efforts on developing UW homes for RED cameras and the same grattidue goes to Steve Gibby and Ketch Rossi for using M-008 along development. I will contact off forum in regards to comm units. Best
