Greetings users...

I have an underwater shoot coming up in NYC with Summer Rayne on the 25th of this month.

Summer and I are doing an art installation of sorts that she will travel. Summer is an incredibly beautiful young women that I have the pleasure of working with, she is the 1st "Eco-Model", an entrepreneur, a published Author, list goes on, she basically rocks.

I have a back up pool location but I am looking for more options as this is a multi-purpose shoot that requires both UW water and above water shots in collaboration with Ketch Rossi and 008. There are rumors this will be an underwater EPIC shoot but I dont want to jinx anything yet so I am going to bite my tongue for now. THank you Steve Gibby & Ketch Rossi for trying to make this happen with legendary 008...crossing my fingers that we can do it!!!

If you have or know of anyone who has a private indoor pool (the deeper the better, even one foot makes a big difference) then please contact me via Clay (at) HaskellFilms (dot) com.

I will gladly hire the pool. Other things I would like to lock down today.
1. Pool
2. Gaffer + Grip with Daylight kit
3. Insurance

Again email me via Clay (at) HaskellFilms (dot) com off forum or post here and I will contact you. I am so freaking excited and grateful for the Steve Gibby and Ketch Rossi 008 union!

Enjoy your friday, weekends, life.

Cheers

Clay

Someone, PLEASE make this happen.

BTW, would love to shoot that girl here in the Sierra mountains in California this summer if she's out this way. :w00t:

We will be flying to Miami, to meet Michael Hasting and taking M8 with it, so that the Housing can be finalized, then will shoot some
underwater tests in Miami, and off to NY to meet up with Clay, for this underwater shoot, plus some Aerials of NY city ;)

Shooting together with Clay, has been a long time coming... ;)

Already Shot the EPIC underwater and it ROCKS!

Hey Clay,

Happy to report that the EPIC camera has already been shot underwater successfully :-)
The producers have yet to post the project but,

No heating issues!

The underwater 96 fps 5K playback from the RED SSDs from a laptop on set was...well game changing and the images are unbelievable. EVERYONE on set was impressed with how well the EPIC worked underwater.

My EPIC 2D housing rents for $450/day, 3 day week and fits in 2 pelican cases. The EPIC housing provides full lens control and accommodates Master and Ultra primes as well Nikon lenses. I recommend the Sigma 12-24 for the EPIC underwater. The external video monitoring is a 5" RED LCD in a GATES custom housing. This is a proven underwater EPIC platform.

Rumor has it that I know how to shoot RED underwater also if you need a shooter :-)
If #8 and Hastings fall through, let's call Pederson and I'll catch the redeye to NY as long as you have a couch for me :-)

Cheers,

Ken

I figured you would beat me to it when I talked to you in January .. Good on ya.

We will be building a housing specifically for the epic so a LOT more compact than an R1 housing.

But if there is any problem, I also have both PVC and aluminum R1 housings that could be made to work with epic in about an hour.

We're way happy to have you making the housing Michael. You made the world's first Red One housing from my Red One 0008, so in my mind its only fitting that you get the chance to make this housing for Epic M8.

Our intention is definitely a much more compact housing than a re-purposed Red One housing...one engineered from the ground up for Epic.

BTW - the Epic M8 deal for this shoot won't be falling through. I won't be there, but I'm sure Ketch will definitely take real good good care of you on this Clay :-)

Well....ok on this shoot....with Mrs. Rayne, my rate is 10% less than Ken Corben

Pretty lady - not as pretty as my wife (please tell her I said that ) but still very pretty so I'll bid 10% less than Johnny.

ok....i'll throw in my underwater comms and a few snorkels for the crew at no extra charge

A very generous offer thank you Ken and glad to hear you have had success! Lets see how things pan out. Nice Rig! :cheers2:

At least it's underwater ... so she won't see all your drool!

But in all seriousness, good luck Clay and Ketch, I'm sure it will rock and very worthy subject -- seems like a really cool chick with a good heart and mission.

Bravo and may the Epic M-008 shine beneath the surface .... :)

Anthony

That is a gorgeous girl from the famous bee shot at Caribbean beach.

Clay bring her in Europe ASAP.

THanks for the support everyone, I am feeling like stars are aligning...secured another pool as well.

I do need some form of underwater comm Johnny Friday! Other wise going to be tugging on ropes old school style.
