Love the first Christopher. It should be printed as an ad for Samuel Adams, though it looks like it was at a printing press.

Thanks Brad! The Red image was properly lit for the motion shoot; the two Canon stills are just shot under practical lights.Fantastic work as usual Paul. I really like the first frame (the one shot on Red).
it's a pleasure and honor to be in the company of so many incredible photographers/cinematographers.

i shot this in downtown los angeles off of broadway. put the camera at my waste, took and deep breath and snapped this shot. no post rotation correction, however i did adjust the exposure, brought out his face and hands and put a vignette to add more depth. probably one of my favorites to date. thanks everyone for providing fantastic inspiration. REDusers RULE!
Through some very old glass 1880.
Hello Peter. Can you share some more info. about the 'glass' your shooting through in this post? Almost looks like you placed an old 19th century window pane in front of your lens.
I'm currently machining a Voighlander + Sohn daguerreotype lens adapter with a PL mount.
No relation I believe. Thanks for the comments!Paul:
Beautiful B&W! Your work is great. BTW, is Hiro Ken's brother? There looks to be a facial resemblance, and they are both actors...
Hi Joe,
You hit the nail on the head. Old window pane in front of a 70-200 canon lens. I guess the description was a bit cryptic.
I'd love to see a still or two pulled from your daguerreotype lens. I admire your work considerably.
Best, Peter
