  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

I know I asked before about the Epic, and Jim said it was manufactured right here in the good old US of A, but what are the plans for the Scarlet?

I tried to search but didn't find anything...
 
Last i heard it was all being made in the us, by red. This was as of february 8th 2011
 
When I first heard that Epic was to be manufactured in the US, I gained a whole new level of respect for the company.

Thank you Mr. Jannard and everyone else at RED for doing the right thing.

:thumbup1::thumbup1: Awesome news! I just read an article in Wired about how more manufacturing is coming back to the states. I am very glad to see this trend, I am tired of so much cheap junk coming from China. I, for one, would be happy to pay a bit more for something that I know it made right here and hopefully working to get us out of this slump.

Well, NAB is quickly approaching, so hopefully within the next month. I know I shouldn't speculate, but if you can place orders for Epic at NAB and have it shipped in summer (and the Scarlet is supposed to be shipping in summer) then I would assume it's the same for Scarlet.

I think what jim meant is "Epic-x's ordered by red one owners BY nab will be shipped by summer."

Oh, well I don't know about Epic (and honestly I don't care too much since I'm getting a scarlet :smiley:) but Jim said that non-red owners should have a Scarlet by the end of summer. I assume this would put the deposit timeline sometime around NAB.
