  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

RED PRO Mattebox

the description of the product on the store page does not even include any flags, etc. when will we be able to get the rest of the "package"? any info?

or the usual "when ready"? ;-p

I hope you guys are right about Gibby getting 008. Can't wait to see his reports!

My mattebox is on a FedEx truck somewhere... Looks like monday/tuesday. I'll take pictures of it, sans Epic. ;)

I'm in the same spot. Mattebox is on the truck but I have no Epic to use it on.

Looks like I need a new set of filters too. The only 4x5.65" filters I have is a 1.2 and a 1.5 ND. Not very useful if you also need to use a 4x5.65" polarizer. With only 2 stages it necesary to get the IR/ND combo for anything over 1.2, maybe even 0.9.

Yes it Does fit perfectly Kirby;)


The RED PRO MB is FANTASTIC!!!!

It works great on Arri/Zeiss Master Primes as well as the Red Pro Primes and off course the Red Pro Zoom 17-50, and we also have it on the 14-24 Ruby ;)

AWESOME! Thanks so much for the pictures. That carbon fibre looks amazing.
 
Its incredibly, light and the Filter trays are smoothly yet firmly ion place, on the RPZ 17-50 will make the perfect Light weight Zoom combination.

But wil serve extremely well on other Pro Cine Prime lenses as well, we had on the 18mm Red Pro Prime as well as the Ruby 14-24, really great MB, CUDOS RED!!!
 
The Side Handle window reads "EPIC".

Does it detect the cam it's on... will it read "SCARLET" on mine?? :)

Fantastic.

That lens looks like it was mounted to the camera by a stills photographer. Or was the camera mounted on the lens? ;)
