  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Grateful...

I don't often say it... but we are so grateful for everyone's participation here on Reduser. Our program is better for it. Plus, it is way more fun to have a community that we can interact with on a daily basis to keep us pointed in the right direction.

We have learned a lot from all of you. Our program has evolved because of you. Your suggestions have influenced what we do.

This is an extremely difficult program. We appreciate everyone's patience. We are late because we had no idea what we were doing and how difficult all this actually would be. Trust me when I tell you that we have built a small army to solve all the problems in an effort to deliver a camera that exceeded anyone's expectations. We want to make you happy.

We are not Sony, Arri, Panasonic or Canon. We are a small group of people dedicated to delivering what the others could not. No easy task. Everyone here is working on fumes. The amount of effort is hard to measure. All of it is an effort to make a big difference.

Without a customer base... none of this is possible. This is the moment where we thank you all for your support.

Jim

And we thank you for creating a strong and vibrant user community. It was a brilliant idea.

But it wouldn't be here without your creative leadership and willingness to break through the bullshit in pursuit of excellence.

And for that, we thank you!

I often feel this way myself.

And.. What a ride!

I have a hard time trying to figure which indy shooter is not also grateful ... deeply so!

Thanks for being so open with your customers.

Do you ever worry about becoming too big one day, or is that something you want for Red?

Never too big to be right here...

Thanks so much Jim for all you have done. No other company in the world like RED.....NONE

This site has given me something to do for 3 years now in my spare time at home, work and hell even while I'm on my iphone in the bathroom.

Your very welcome Jim and thank you!

Thank you Jim and the entire RED team for the work you have put in to bring such amazing toys for us all to play with.

And thanks for let us all learn from one another in this community - it's worth more than it's weight!

Thus, why I remain as well. Many my age (19) would rather be with peers and party all the weekend. However, I choose to surround myself with people who have gone before me and have a wealth of wisdom that I can draw from.

You, Ketch, Gibby, David, and many others come to mind in whom i want to just BE around. If I can contribute to others' benefit, I count it as a plus...

My hat is off to you Jim. Red has truly changed the the industry and looks to be the new "red" gorilla in the room. I am sure you know Scarlet alone will exponentially increase your customer base- let alone Epic. Hope to be one of those customers soon!

You guys are AMAZING at what you do and I can't imagine a more passionate/ talented company and team of guys on the planet!

By the way, with all the insane technology you guys are pumping out it begs the question how you gathered such talent!? It makes me think of "project paperclip," minus the Nazis of course! And building game changing cameras not the bomb ;)

Thanks for being so open with your customers.

Of course this is concerning the guy who owned a major sunglass, etc company, yet still shot commercials.... I am guessing he will still be here for a long time :)

Jim, we have to thank you more for preservering and coming up with not only a camera but a digital revolution that democratize and level the playing field, allow many younger talents (not in age but new to the industry) to produce and bring moving images of high qualities to the markets. I am sure Da Vinci, Smoke or other previously expensive post software will not have lowered their prices if you had not started this. Lim
