I've never been to NAB before...but RED has me excited, and Ive done the 5 hour drive to Vegas from San Diego quite a few times. What is the "conferences" over the weekend? Should I try to get work off for the actual Exhibits on Monday? When is the "surprise" going to be executed?

Such a Tease. I love NAB, and this is just going to put the icing on the cake for me this year. I plan on spending a ton of time at the RED Booth but is there a specific day and/or time we NEED to make sure we are there so we don't miss the "surprise"

I'm thinking about coming over from germany... it only depends if the university will let me... is there any NAB fee you have to pay as a visitor? also do you have to book in advance as a visitor? the NAB site wasn't that helpful... or I'm blind
