I just came on here to post the trailer. Ahh beaten the to the punch again. I rarely get this excited for a film these days, the trailer is beautiful.

Beautiful, indeed. So what is the film about?

Beautiful, indeed. So what is the film about?

The impressionistic story of a Midwestern family in the 1950's. The film follows the life journey of the eldest son, Jack, through the innocence of childhood to his disillusioned adult years as he tries to reconcile a complicated relationship with his father (Brad Pitt). Jack (played as an adult by Sean Penn) finds himself a lost soul in the modern world, seeking answers to the origins and meaning of life while questioning the existence of faith. Through Malick's signature imagery, we see how both brute nature and spiritual grace shape not only our lives as individuals and families, but all life.

Truly breathtaking and mindful as to be expected and more. Masterful - Even the trailer is.

none of this trailer was shot on red, other than the last two shots where the title cards come up against black and some colored lights. i am pretty certain that some of the shots we did with red#0031 will actually make the cut, but i have not seen the film yet, so your guess is as good as mine.

terrence is a big fan of red i will say that, in the future i will write about other things related to that statement. but for now i must stay quiet.

I need to get to the doctor pronto to get my jaw re-attached cause it just hit the floor!

Yes, this is stunning. Is it next year yet?
