You have Mike Curtis to thank- he twisted my arm into making it.
Anyway the support works with ARRI bridge or Optitek adapter equipped Red Universal mount. See pictures. The bracket is attached to the lens with two screws and the lens barrel rests on it so no stress on the mounting screws what soever. Adjustable foot.
It will be anodized with color and texture matching the lens.
$225 but if I find 20 buyers by the end of the week will drop to $195 a piece.
Delivery 3-4 weeks.
300mm owners unite!!!- it'll cost you less this way...

Have you ever picked it up?
Thanks Riki -wll contact you..

Well then you should count me in Jacek, if it is as good as the one you sold me for the 18-85 I'l be a very happy camper, but it will have to be Anodized Black just like the 18-85 support, I don't like to have any aluminum and or gray/silver items with my Epic-X set up.

I should be in your record so to invoice me, if not let me know.

How does this attach to the lens?

It attaches with the two screws to the bottom of the barrel. The attachment point only prevents it from falling off or sliding because the design relies on its(the lens's weight) resting on the barrel so there is no stress on the mounting screws what soever. Light weight, unobtrusive, adjustable, economical.:yesnod:

So Matthew, it begs the question: How does Duclos mount its RED Pro 300mm Support? Does it wrap the lens?

Ah, Mitch. You know the company I work for doesn't sponsor REDUser.net. Can't speak of products that said company may or may not sell. Besides, I'm more interested in Jacek's support. Seems very simple and useful.
Thank you for the kind words- Matt:thumbsup:
The holes are there- look closely. Putting in holes is the LAST thing I want to do- trust me....

Wasn't trying to cause trouble, just couldn't recall. What you fellows fail to realize is that for every informative post put up by a manufacturer on REDuser, I get an email or two asking me for details! As if I had everything in my head or sitting on my desk (although if you saw my desk lately ...)

Sorry Jacek, but do to timing and design, which is similar to the Rapped around lens support of your 18-85,
as well as the fact that Matthews has all my RPP's for the Adding of the Focus Markings Job,
I decided to go with Mathews Support for my 300's, but still use and love your Support for the RPZ 18-85 truly a piece of Art work ;)
