Camera arrived yesterday.
When I checked the Fedex tracking info,at 8am,it said it was on the vehicle for delivery.
I spent the next 3 hours pacing up and down the studio like an expectant father.
It's bigger and heavier than I expected.

Thanks Sanjin,
most of my friends think I'm mad starting this at my age, after being a still photographer for 30 years, but challenges are what life's about, and this camera makes very, very pretty pictures.

I seem to remember getting a toy castle for Christmas around 9 or 10,I also remember loosing interest in it fairly quickly, that's not going to happen this time.
I've got another Christmas coming in about two weeks when my second camera arrives.
The really frustrating thing is that I'm in the middle of quite a long stills job at the moment, and I just can't get the time to play with my toy.

Hi Viny,
Only had to pay VAT,the camera and accessories don't carry any customs duty in the UK. Transport was fast,I think only 4 days from when it left Red to arriving at my studio, and there was no difficulty with customs.
Sorry,I do need two,but I understand you can get them from Red fairly quickly now.
Tom.

Hi Guy's,
thanks for all your encouragement,I can't wait to really get to grips with this camera,I'll post some impressions when I've had a chance to see how it performs for myself.
Regards
Tom.
