Storm doesn't seem to like my Rocket card. I assume this is because I'm using the new drivers that go along with RCX 351 (RC2/RG2).

That said, non-rocket performance is pretty damn nice.

And is there a way to quickly make all media in the same path online if this happens? I now would have to do them one by one.

Hi Henk,

You can select all of the clips in your Timeline and choose Reconnect Media, this should allow you to Reconnect all of your selected clips in your Timeline at once. If you have source clips which are offline in your Bins this functionality will also work.

Selecting one clip will only Reconnect the clip that you have selected.

Sorry to hear that things haven't gone smoothly for you! Can you post up your hardware spec?

Also, when does it crash? Do you see the licensing dialog? Do you see the splash screen?

Unfortunately we have not yet implemented a way to view anamorphic clips in Storm but I can assure you that it's on our list and were taking note of all your comments.

Hi Jeff,
Exporting limited to QT, DPX and EXR so far.
You need to have a bin, clipi or timeline selected, then you'll see Export... in the File menu.
No full batch render yet.

Hi Foundry, first off STORM looks amazing and I can't wait until it develops beyond RED. Can anyone say Foundry Finishing App?

Do you have an official channel for reporting bugs or is that best done on this thread? STORM has been pretty crashy for me so far although crashes aside, it looks like an incredibly polished app for 10 months of development!

Half of the looks seem to be crashing STORM or the locking up the entire system. Running on 10.6.4 with ATI Radeon 4870 and RED ROCKET.

A few initial bugs - as above is there an official channel for these?

Metadata stuff:
For 4.5k clips it reports the aspect as 2:1
1/50th shutter on 25fps reads 179 degrees not 180 - some interesting maths
Weirdness:
Audio playback is crazy / choppy / not working
Dragging to move a clip from in tray to a floated bin window sometimes leaves the moved clip behind and deletes the next one forward from the original bin.

Things I'm sure are coming - no live scrub on trimming a clip in the timeline, some of the stuff I thought I saw effects-wise pre beta release is not around (or am I blind?)

Is there optimisation to be done for performance without rocket? At the moment the auto resolution setting and lowest de-bayer is still a touch sluggish for smooth adjustments. I'm on fairly new MacPro with ATI 4870...

I'm sorry to hear that the Looks are causing various issues. We would like to solve this so could you please let us know which Looks are causing crashes/locking and we'll try to repro this in the office.

If there's a crash report could you please post it so that I can pass this onto the engineering team.
