Clip from an old camera test we did in London with Roberto Schaefer a few years back with pre-production RED ONEs..

Holy crap! I know what night footage looks like on an M sensor and that looks amazing!

Very impressive! Any chance you could post the original? That would really show off how far Team Red has come!

Very nice, so London hehe, not easy to get this clean of footage with fog always in the air.

I'll take you round London myself Ketch when you swing by next.

Andi

I'm glad RED is reaching a consolidation in this regard.

So we have ISO 6400 clean footage?

:cheers2:

Oh, you mean see in the dark, I get it. Sounds like I'm going to have to look through the camera just to see the actors. I hope they can see each other in the dark... :}

Pietro we are shooting a feature in Rio...back in 1930.
Very clean footage in incredible low light ISO 1200, ISO 1600.
M-X all the way... I will send some frames as soon as possible.
Best,

Yes asking if it was pushed ? At 320 it seems the image would be much darker even with fast lenses !

If you guys haven't run your old footage through the new color science, you're out of your mind. I've seen it reel back almost a stop of additional usable DR in some shots. I'll post some examples soon that will simply knock your socks off.

One cannot overplay how important the new color science is.
