With all of the justifiable excitement surrounding the upcoming release of EPIC, we here at Keslow Camera want to give kudos to RED for creating such a great first run camera, the good ol' RED One (now advanced with the Mysterium-X™ upgrade), which has completely revolutionized our business (and we feel, the industry as a whole).

This is the busiest television season we've experienced in our twenty plus year history, and we definitely chalk it up to the power of RED.

For instance, we're currently supporting the following television shows shot on RED:

NBC's "UnderCovers" shot by John Bartley, ASC & John Aronson
ABC Family's "Pretty Little Liars", shot by Dana Gonzalez
TBS's "Glory Daze", shot by Mark Doering-Powell
Showtime's "Shameless", first 3 episodes shot by Jimmy Muro, with the remainder of the season shot by Rodney Charters, ASC
TNT's "Franklin & Bash", shot by Denny Hall
TNT's "SouthLAnd", shot by Jimmy Muro
MTV's "The Hard Times of RJ Berger", shot by Mathew Rudenberg

Additionally we have feature film and commercial DP's who all demand the higher resolution and power of RAW that the RED One provides.

Again, kudos to everyone at RED Digital Cinema for the excellent RED One, and we look forward to the upcoming EPIC propelling all of us in this community to the next level.

Thanks for posting Brad. Great to hear positive things from someone with all sorts of gear in their fleet - and top projects and DP's on their client list. I really believe that Epic is going to blow this place apart.

Thanks Brad, that is so awesome!

Also, since you guys are one of the few to carry the new Cooke 5i
lenses -- do you know if anyone has shot with those and the
Red MX?

If so, I'd love to know the show or film so I can dig up footage.

I imagine the lenses are out of stock a lot, but I will probably come
in a rent them within the next few weeks.

Thanks again,

Anthony

I am currently involved with 4 TV series in different stages from prep to online + a feature in Norway.

And I am not alone over here... Far from.

RED has had a minor impact for a cam that was judged as "maybe can be able to replace some 16mm productions in 5 years time" as was the verdict of the first test here back in Oct 07...

Totally agree. RED have blown life in many previously dead part of the film/tv industy here in Sweden. I can not imagine working without red. Like a cirkle of success: Fimmakers get inspired of the quality of red -> make great and creative productuons -> very happy clients -> client order new and bigger productions...->

..me get paid and order new red stuff :)

Also, since you guys are one of the few to carry the new Cooke 5i lenses -- do you know if anyone has shot with those and the Red MX?

Our Cooke 5i's currently live on the MTV show, "The Hard Times of RJ Berger", shot on RED M-X™. They love 'em

as added proof to my statement above about the influence of RED, the four television pilot episodes we're supporting that all prep this week, didn't ask to shoot on anything but RED:

Lifetime's "Exit 19", shot by Walt Lloyd, ASC
ABC Family's "The Lying Game", shot by Crescenzo Notarile, ASC
ABC Family's "Nine Lives", shot by Checco Varese
ABC Family's "What Would Jane Do", shot by Mark Doering-Powell

It's always great to hear positive business news, particularly these days, well done Brad/Keslow.

And Gunleik and Co. for that matter.
