Dear Jim Jannard and Red team,
I love Reduser.net. Don't get me wrong, I feel as though I should pay a subscription to benefit from the bottomless information.

However... If someone from your talented team jumped on Twitter, you'd have a huge instant following. From what I can tell, there is no official RED twitter account (and if there is, ignore this post altogether and just let me know what it is!).

As it is, quadrillions of people post stuff about RED all the time.

Yet, I feel as though an official account would be the perfect avenue to deliver tantalizing updates, or quick notes on technical improvements and the like, in 140 characters or less.

You'd have a gigantic following I'm sure. Take of that what you will,

James

Mmm...Seems like they barely have time to sleep..let alone twitter around.

True, I know they're incredibly busy.

But wouldn't it be feasible to simply post 1 tweet a week? One short blurb about something spectacular. (heck, tell me what to post and I'll post it! I'm sure others would too)

They wouldn't have to follow and reply to everyone necessarily. Twitter could simply broaden their visibility.

But... there is no one single official Twitter account for RED the company, correct?

And follow the #r3d hashtag.

Deanan and I usually are pretty good at repeating out all the news. However, if you follow me you'll also find out what music I listen to and what whisky I drink whilst coding. I think that goes some way to explaining why certain functions have certain names.

Excellent suggestions.

Also Jason Wingrove and Mike Seymor, aka the RedCenter guys serve as a consolidated twitter feed for almost all things RED.

Cheers,

Steve
