  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Adam Wilt Visits RED ( the long version )

Good reading. Looks like the only missing thing is the "Buy" button in Red store.

Well.. great Article!

9 Seconds start up sure will be sweet if reached!! Great to see the inside of Epic too ;) so many glimpse of things to come.. coming..

Got to visit you Jared with some Gnocchi Man, I like to get my chance to play some more with Epic, but actually shooting something Beautifully sensual with long air ;)

Very good reporting by Adam Wilt.
I always liked his brand of precise observation and technical understanding.
It's rare to get this type of behind the scenes coverage on RED.

Seems like some historic developments going on with the new RED tech.

Holy Crap

If that article doesn't send shock waves throughout the entertainment and cine-camera industries, it just means that they either didn't read it, or didn't understand it.

Game-changer, or paradigm shift, doesn't describe it...

Imagine if NASA nonchalantly announced tomorrow morning that they had perfected warp drive...

Soooo... If I was in the neighbourhood with a feature script and a couple of actors under my arm...

Very detailed report. Good to hear about all those tiny improvements, like the cable-less mount swap.

I can almost feel the excitement over at RED.

There’s an electric intensity to the place, a sense of nervous energy. I know the feeling; I’ve felt it when I’ve worked at tech companies, in the weeks leading up to […] an initial product shipment.

“This is our prototype assembly line,” he says. “We’re building EPICs by hand, so we can see what works and what doesn’t work in the assembly and test process. That way we can work out our manufacturing bugs before we set up our real production line.”
