I am trying to get custom guildlines to make 1:2.35 in a 4.5k project. I'm on build 30.6.0
My guildlines look good in the custom guildlines setting menue, but once I set and jump out, they are way to small, leaving good 1/3 surounding - is this a bug?

Thanks

This has been a "bug" for sometime, Red has known about it since atleast the first beta build 30. I say this because I had this problem in February and the tech at Keslow talked to Red and told them about it then. Before that job I never tried using those and since that job I've never tried them either.

Yeah, sadly no solution that I'm aware of. I shoot a lot of 4.5K, so it would be great to get a fix...

I'm trying to remember the workaround I used on the last project that got me close. I think I set up a safety with full lines (as opposed to corners only) and dialed them in to get the top and bottom edges to match against a framing chart. The problem with this, of course, is that you have the two safety lines at the sides of the frame that you need to ignore - you might find you prefer shooting without the guides, but personally I found it a better solution than not being able to accurately see my headroom...

Hope that helps mate!
Dom.
