I have 2 of them, been doing some tests, the Macguyver is far superior than the Macgruber clip. Though I am being paid by Macguyver for the review

Eh, clearly they went into production too quickly without properly working out all the bugs. I don't ever go with first gen gear. I'll wait for the new model next year.

I hear the next model will have RAW recordin.... er, I mean, have metal banding around the clip

Rodney Charters and Lucasfilm are replacing their entire Grip Team with these sometime next month. The DP's will just have to learn how to use them properly, because grips cost too much.

Rumor has it that RED is developing one. Beta model being referred to as the "Jim" clip.

Uh Oh, Canon's started development, halfway through tho, I hear they will be putting the Paper Clip, and Screwdriver into one DMSC (Dynamic Metal Screwing Clip)

Pshh...You guys with your 8x10 papers and clips too many problems...I prefer a scroll, so simple and nothing can go wrong!

I started on the scroll, but moved to 8x10's once V2 came out... Scrolls had too much of a learning curve (pun intended)

Zacuto will bring out the z-clip next week

It's actually the Zlip and is available in their sexy anodized red color. They sell them in 2-packs for $99.

I'm hoping ET will make theirs out of titanium.

I used to swear by scrolls. But then someone set their iStoneTablet on one of mine and now I have to unfold it rather than unrolling it. I never minded the learning curve.
