I agree the blue is alot harder to see than the red edge was. Can red make the colour selectable in the menu so we can pick the best colour for the situation we are shooting in?

The change to blue was for users with colour blindness! This would also probably preclude bright green (my personal preferred choice). The Red reply was that they can only choose ONE colour for any given firmware build on the RED One.

I wonder if they can make the colour flash or do a Photoshop selection style marching ants effect to make it more visible...

How about a bright pink? Seriously. It'd be very easy to see, even for the color blind folks.

Surely if a build can be re-written to increase brightness or crawling ants, they could make the colour selectable?

I'm keen to know just how many voices it would take to make a difference?!
