Gah, nevermind. Just saw the thread that says it won't work with Denon 4k receivers like my 3100w. Sorry for the misfire.

There still is some hope for the Denon, the REDRAY isn't the only 4K device having trouble with the X2100W and X3100W. We'll see how it goes with the next firmware update from Denon. That said, it would be nice if RED could flesh out the HDMI support on the REDRAY. It has intermittent handshake issues and its blanking interval seems to be what causes most incompatibilities. The thing just only wants to do it one way. That's great that its way is within spec, but it needs to be more adaptable. Same can be said for the Denon receivers. They need to be even more so and actually encompass the entire range of signal and blanking limits within the HDMI spec so this doesn't happen.
