  • Red isn't really 4k anyway, so who cares. I'll buy a Viper instead.

Hi

I guess, as this has not been posted yet - that the ones who have received the camera have promised NOT to post native RAW files, and that RedAlert is lisenced only to the current holders of Red Cameras.

Fair enough!

But

... at least for us on the waiting list, it would be of big help to be able o dl some native files and play around with the workflow.

I sorta figure that Red - just not yet - wants "any" raw footy to flow around (even though I'd basically be happy with "any"), but some footy could be fine... -;)

This way we could prepare ourself and our customers for the times to come.

Actually I'd gladly host a 2gb/1 min red-clip if we could expose ourselves to the workflow and tune our systems and brains.

Ideally it would have 6 segments á 10 secs:

1. "Perfectly" exposed/lit
2. "Badly underexposed
3. Seriously overexposed
4. ??? (suggest)
5. ??? (suggest)
6. ??? (suggest)
