What on earth is proxy record error 0x0000011d - epic w

Hello there


Can anyone throw some light on this ......I've started to get this proxy record error 0x0000011d popping up shooting with the Dnxhd codec .....

It started happening shooting r3d + dnxhd - the camera after several minutes of recording would just cut and then bring up the error !!! I would run to record again and then even fewer minutes later same thing would happen !!!!!

Then trying just the dnxhd without the r3d, its even less record time before the error appears again . And once I try just the dnx at higher frame rates the error appears again as soon as you hit the record button !!!

However switching over to the r3d + prores all is good ... regardless of codec , 2k , 4k , higher frame rates , prores on its own etc etc..

Now I am not sure if its something I'm doing, or whether its a firmware issue so I rolled back to - ver 6.3.101 - and It's still doing it !!!! Arggggghhh!!!

Is this happening to anyone else ? is it a known problem ? or is it just me.....?

I'm almost positive that they fixed that issue on the latest release (I know for a fact on beta they did since I haven't had any issues). Make sure you're up to date (beta has been solid for me) and that should fix your issue.

Make sure you format the card as "secure format".

I should have said that I am using 512G cards and yes I have done the secure format several times but still no joy......

Maybe you're right Chris .... perhaps I should give beta version a go. I am still quite nervous about using the beta with paying clients!!

You could always roll back to latest release if beta becomes too buggy for you.

Had the same issue recording proxy files. Works great now. Just needed to update to the latest version.
