  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

anyone got any tips on wet weather proofing RED...

I have a shoot coming up near a beach in the UK and it could piss it down.

Rory if you're shooting on or near a beach I would also seriously worry about sand. (that is if it's a sandy beach!) Make sure you tape up any possible entry points for sand this includes all the unused connector ports on the camera.

I use a kata rain jacket (see here) to protect my gear in these situations - but it also pays to have a load of large bin bags around - just cut a hole for the lens! (these also useful to keep your other bags of gear dry - equipment poncho's!!!)
