Weapon LCD Shipping?

Hey - I was an early Forged Weapon buyer (#41) and have been shooting with the camera weekly ever since (and loving it).

I've been rocking the old 7" Touch LCD the entire time, though.

Is there any official word from RED on when the Weapon 7" Touch LCD is going to start shipping? Seems weird to have paid $3000 for this monitor 6 months ago and not hear anything bout it since. In the RED store it still says "coming soon" so I assume it's a stock issue, and my Bombsquad rep hasn't had any info.

Anyone else have their Weapon 7" LCD?

They might have run in to some production difficulties... who knows. Red never report on such problems.

When did you order your LCD? I received my LCD on Wednesday. I ordered the LCD on 4/13 at around 3:30 AM PST. If you already have your Weapon, you should email your BS rep.

Ordered on 4/16. Hopefully that means I'm near next in line.

There are A LOT of orders between 4/13 and 4/16. If you have not done so, you might want to email your BS rep and ask about availability since you already have your Forged Weapon.

A weapon LCD was part of the shipment I received with my new Woven Carbon 8K package order. (Note that the 8K part is an upgrade yet to be delivered.)
