first thing I wanted to do was rig it onto a Movi M5, see whats possible in the small and light category.

Needed a light weight lens for starter, but its balancing.

Thanks for sharing. I aim to do this very thing with my Scarlet-W when it arrives. My plan is to mainly fly the new Global Dynamics United 24mm lens on the m5

I figured it would work on paper... glad to see it work in practice too :)

Spencer, Yes that smaller lens will help the cause for sure. Next I'm going to get the battery off the rig and onto a hip belt.

Chris, I think its called jet pack, stripped down for movi.

I also have a jetpack and v-mount battery belt clip on order... I would love to know how that works for you and how it effects stabilization to have the tether running to your belt. I've heard of others powering their cameras off of a second MoVI Li-Po battery... not sure if I want to try that yet though :)

The 11-16 tokina is VERY light, I wonder how that would help? Great to see that the newer dsmc2 cams can be fitted onto the m5 :)

Congrats Erich!
Actually the Movi M5 can easily take Red Epic (naked) and Zeiss High Speed lens (25, 35, 50).

Last week I tested the Weapon MG with Sidekick and Jetpack on my drone with M5 gimbal. Works like a charm.
Lens used Leica-R Duclos Cinemod 19/2.8 (700grams or 1.54lbs, ND filter included).

Enjoy!
