Here you go! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6n6DQuyBu-c

As several people pointed out, this is an older interview (pre-Dragon days), but then again, it only shows the arc of the change and also the openness people have.

On a side note, I was at the MZed audio tour last week, and the one note that was repeated several times was how "RED cameras had terrible fan noise"... People don't distinguish between the various flavors of RED cameras. These semi-truths get out there quick and fast and take a long time to tear down. All of this is to say that RED will hopefully push the image-related fixes and blackshade improvements in Weapon down to the Epic Dragon sooner rather than later. All active RED camera lines (i.e. Scarlet, EPIC, Weapon) with the PRO tag must have a base standard of image, audio and peripherals quality and consistency.

Loved the ad.. It showed the dynamic range of the camera beautifully, I wonder why it was pulled...

Jarred already said...spots WERE shot on Dragon...there was just an NDA that required them pulling thread...but spots WERE Dragon...

The answer is only a few posts above yours:

Sorry guys... no big conspiracy and nothing that was said was wrong. I was asked to take them down as there was a pre-existing NDA between two other companies that we were not made aware of.

Wally Pfister was the keynote at a Chicago Art Expo a few weeks ago. He pretty much said he was never going to shoot again, except an occasional commercial or something, but he wants to focus exclusively on directing at this point in his career.

He is actually saying "No" to shooting any more Christopher Nolan films.

That's interesting, Linda. Did he talk at all about his experience with Red and why he decided to shoot the Apple commercials on Dragon?

Mike

He didn't speak much about digital. At one point he was trying to remember "the high speed camera" and everyone shouted out Phantom Flex and he made some joke about digital and seemed to indicate he preferred film.

It was an interview format and a big part of the discussion revolved around his move to directing. He said another studio isn't likely to gamble another $100M on him again because Trancendence flopped and lost money.

He was very down to earth and not pretentious at all. I left with a high regard for him. But he was very adamant that he wants to move on from being a DP and direct.
