Anyone know if there are some old style film-stock LUT's available? Especially looking for Eastman 50T 5251...

Or they may not be using LUTs at all, and are just using skill and experience to set the look based on input from the DP. It can be done -- it just takes time.Be aware that LUTs people use on big films may be more elaborate/more than just LUTs to get the look of shooting/printing on film.
I agree -- the so-called Film LUTs out there are all very inconsistent. They all can't be telling the truth... but it is possible they're all mistaken. I think you can create the feel of film through good lighting, good exposure, and good color-correction, but it's not about a LUT per se.But it won't happen because none of those things are reliable. But just interpretations. So we're not in objective but completly. Subjective, unreliable and unconsistency land...just like the human mind.
