Variable ND on a Zeiss CP2 anyone?

I'm tired of taping NDs to these lenses. Is there any way I can attach an 82mm or 77mm vari ND to Zeiss cp.2

The necessary step down rings seem to not exist?

Anyone got any ideas?

thanks

I have an Obox and a proper step down to make it a clamp on. But, I'd like to to be able to "screw in" a Variable ND straight onto the lens with no MatteBox attached. That's when it gets rather tricky.

The CP.2s don't have filter threads... so unless you have the front of the lens housings mechanically modified, that's not going to happen.

You can however combine a linear and circular polariser in your mattebox and effectively create your own variable ND. That's the closest you're going to get in front of CP.2s though.
