V Raptor and AVID

Sorry I know this should probably go in to workFlow but wondering if there is anything different using AVID and V Raptor R3D Files..??for post work.
I have a post or edit that’s just starting using my V Raptor footage, they have used my DSMC2 footage before but for some reason the new V Raptor footage is not linking to their AVID .
Does anyone know if there is a new plug in or update for AVID to be able to handle the new VRaptor footage?? Is there anything different from dSMC2 footage?? I don’t think there should be as it’s all in the same R3B right??

Not using AVID myself, I can't tell for sure what works, but R3D isn't the same R3D file format with newer cameras. They should update to this version:

Thank you for the info I have passed it on to the post working with the files and they have had some success so thanks again.
