upgrading machine: lose fcp7 or keep it?

My new MBP will support up to 16gb of ram, 4 core cpu, and in essence is far beyond what a 32bit program supports when it comes to multi threading and maxing out ram usage. So being that I'd like to go the SSD route I am having trouble justifying keeping FCP7 around on my new machine when the SSD is going to cost me so much damn money per gb to run my os/apps and since I want to dual boot it I am going to be needing a huge SSD to begin with. Are you guys facing the same situation in trying to justify keeping FCP7 suite in use, or you guys keeping it for legacy support, what's your take on its usability these days relative to our other options?

I should mention I have Adobe CS5 for Mac and Avid for pc/mac using bootcamp. Both are 64 bit. Haven't jumped on FCPX yet because I haven't had to. Not sure if I ever will at this point... Might get Resolve lite for both and obviously need redcine on both OS's. So I am basically using a ton of space on the SSD and not sure I need an ancient 32 bit program unless there still is a market for me to cut with it. I been on an avid gig since March and haven't used FCP almost at all since X came out. Mostly in spite at first lol...

I upgraded to a new machine a while back, and never reinstalled FCP7. I'm working full-time in Premiere now, and if, by chance, I need to open an old FCP project, I've got a friend who can open the file and export an XML file for me.

I certainly don't miss FCP7.

Same here but I went one further and switched to PC as well. CS6 rocks and I am not looking back.
