UK Film friends wanted

I make a rather good living off my stock footage library so I'm fortunate that I don't have to beg for the next job (which was mainly corporate and advertising). Actually I've stopped all that work out of choice.

I have a RED ONE, Epic (soon), a 2000 Square Foot green screen studio in Hampshire/ UK and a post production office with staff.

I'm starting to shoot my own short films and write scripts for larger projects I might film in the future etc. but what I don't have is 'Film Friends' in the UK. I'd love to get to know a few of you and perhaps work together on projects. I could really do with a DP that I can buddy up with and camera ops and other directors.

This isn't me networking to get work, it's a genuine shout to those in the industry that might like to use me too! Out of interest I have 12 years camera and editing experience and run Wailing Banshee Ltd.

I know what you're saying - I've stepped out of the rat race myself to concentrate on making more personal stuff.

I started live action Directing back in '89 (old timer - LOL) and have done lots of high-end CGI (90's onwards) and videogame stuff. Now my creative focus is to make cool materials again... albeit with budgets that are a lot smaller than I worked with previously

BTW - UK Film Friends - sounds like a cross between a dating site and a Children's Film Foundation Saturday morning serial
