Is anyone using the Oracle to trigger the Scarlet in time lapse mode with the new firmware? I am wondering what sort of cable is required and can be made to go from the Kessler Oracle and optional pulse device, and the BNC sync cable for the Scarlet. I own the cable and the Oracle, but need to know what I need in between, to make time lapse work with my Scarlet running the new firmware.

Unfortunately the Scarlet/Epic don't trigger with a simple closing pair contact like the Red One (wish they had kept it simple).

The Red Epic Operations Guide manual has a simple circuit in it to construct a trigger. See Pages 171 & 172 of the manual.

But does that mean the signal sent from the Kessler Control Module would be incompatible? I have sent the Red specs from the Scarlet manual about the triggering, which appears to be a somewhat standard method called "Schmitt", to Kessler Tech Support, to see if they can tell whether it would work. I will report back what I learn from Kessler. Seems eventually there will be a modification or another little gadget we can buy to make it happen. There are just too many Red users with new time lapse capability out there to ignore the need or potential.
