Time from deposit to actual contact from RED

Hey guys

I've been hearing all these talks about raised prices for next year and as I result I've been trying to gather the funds as fast as I can before that happens. If I were to send my deposit on say Christmas day, would it be fair to say that it'll be at least another week before RED contacts me for actual purchase?

My understanding is that once you order your purchase is locked in at that price, meaning as long as you put your deposit down this year you should be fine even if your order doesn't ship until January or later.

When you order and get that email saying thanks for your order, you are locked into that rate.. BUT call to confirm if you feel anything is wrong or you are doubtful of anything..

Yeah I got the same feeling about that too. But my order won't be shipped probably for at least for another week or so right? ( I'm actually counting on it being longer so I can have more time gathering all the funds)

Delivery time is not a precise thing at Red, so just be ready when you get the email saying you items are available to get that money to them..

I placed an order, but the deposite was never taken out of my account. The email said the order was confirmed though and the RED store has everything on open order. Still, I am kind of getting a little worried myself.

Your order is in the system no worries, as Brent has mentioned we are playing a little catch up. Customers who selected credit card as a form of payment are getting their cards charged for the deposit amount. The charge should reflected on your account this week.

All I know is once you place your order, and once they contact you, you have 10 days to allocate the rest of your funds to RED. If they're in backorder you won't owe the balance until it's ready to process and ship, problem is you won't know how long that will be.
