Hey all, I'm trying to export a TIFF sequence, 32bit. The orginal file is 4k and I want to change it to 2k, but it won't let me do it. Anyone know why? Or any suggestions for a work around??

thanks!

32bit?

32bit?

Whats's with the 32bit reference?

The camera data is 12bit, so 16bit (48bpp) TIF should be all you need (16bits takes half the disk space of 32bits).

My DANCAD87.EXE (tm) can resize 16bit (48bpp) TIF from REDCINE and also do color correction and editing at the same time, use mode 4 of the image Insert command i.e. the (Main Menu) > Files > Utilities > Kinema > Edit_list > [Spacebar] > Insert (when the edit list cursor is on the shot folder number the frames are stored in). Select type 3 input (TIF) type 48 output (TIF). If you need letter box and such use the settings in the grading command alter_configuration option. If you want to try it PM or email me if you need help.

Its best not to sharpen the 4K images if you are going to make them smaller, even with a good resample too sharp of a source image can make aliasing worse in the results.
