When telling others about Scarlet-X Redcode RAW, I liken it to RAW capability in still cameras, and how I wouldn't be caught shooting without RAW mode. What a
gift it is that RED has given users RAW capability in tools which shoot motion images.

Here's a shot from my Fuji X100 still camera, to show the benefits of RAW.
(The image on the left is untouched - on the right, graded with the Photoshop RAW software)

Nice color grade.

I'd like to check that software out, it's called Photoshop RAW software?

Oh man, does the latest version of ACR support Redcode?! I hadn't even thought about that...

Thanks, Jay. Yes, just the standard RAW software which comes standard with Photoshop CS 5.5 Extended (Camera RAW 6.5). http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/extend.html

So I would assume LR3 supports RED as well. Can't find RED on the supported cameras chart, but that's great to know. I am not sure why I didn't consider using LR (which I love) on RED stills before.

Which begs the question... does LR process REDCODE Motion? Hmmmmmmmmm one can only dream.
