ok... this is for home only... but... a lot of people work at home... at it cost less than 1000$. You can grade with panasonic monitors and adjust convergence with this in a "big" screen.
The system:
1. Optoma 3d-XL - Converter from side by side or hdmi1.4 to 720p 120hz 350$, include one dlp link glases.
2. Optoma Dw318 or HD67 from 500$
3. Extra Dlp Link Glasses Acer JZ.K0100.003 70$. This glasses has a button to change between 3d to 2d left or 2d right.
What is dlp link?.
Dlp link is a system that create a white frame before the left frame to synchronize glasses with projector. In this white frame the glasses are "closed".
I'm really amazed with the ghosting free of this system. It has near zero ghosting. Its a lot better than samsung 3d lcd glasses. I can't compare with panasonic. The contrast is ok, but I prefer plasma. From side by side source no aparent aliasing problems...
The only problem is, it's only 720p. But... you can use 2x 3d-XL, and it can convert from side by side or hdmi1.4 to hdmi left and hdmi right, and you can feed this to dual 3d 1080p projector system
saludos,
Jose.
