Strange Artifacting/Noise Scarlet-W

Hi all,

Just wrapped a music video shoot and looking through footage have noticed some weird artifacting/noise in one part of the image here. Anyone know what this is? Am I expecting too much from compression here or could it be a camera/filter issue? Screenshot from Red Player. Shot in 8:1.

File a support ticket with RED. That shouldn't be happening.

Wondering is it only in that one part of the sensor or does it move with the helmet? I thought it was a flair at first look. Wondering if you saw it in any other setups or only this one in to the sun shot..??

It moves with the helmet, almost seems like it's the shade of red or something that seems to be the issue...Thanks for suggestion will file a support ticket.

Are you using DC2/RG4 or IPP2? It looks to me like bad color interpolation due to clipping. What about the stoplights?
