Is it just me or should you generally try the normal Stabilize/1-point motion tracker first? It's much faster.

A 1 point track cannot determine rotation or zoom.

Again, it's not incredibly complicated bookkeeping... it's just additional programming and (more importantly, when it comes to release deadlines) testing.

Absolutely. I spoke to the Apple guys at length while at SMPTE a couple of weeks back, and although you could tell they were incredibly proud of this release, you could tell part of that pride was that they managed to get it out the door so fast. It's clearly going to have a lot of work done to it in the near future.
