Where can I find the "shot on red" logo? I have seen this asked before, but I can't find it searching the threads.

Thanks!!!!! Submitting my short film to Sundance, wish me luck!!!

You da man Jannard!!!!!

How many companies can you think of where this would happen?

Are there any guidelines or rules about how the Shot on Red logo may be used? I would expect Red Digital Cinema wouldn't appreciate being associated with objectionable content (including racism, hate, pornography), amateurish work, etc.

i dont think a camera company has anything to do with the images its customers make other than serving the purpose of making images.

what's shot on red.. is shot on red. so i dont see the big fuss. some images look astounding.. some look like crap.. its how its shot.. and whats being shot.

Thats absurd. Do Kodak pictures look like Polaroid or Helga or Lolo? No. So why do you assume movies shot on RED wouldn't have a different look and feel from movies shot on a Panasonic?

Are we allowed to edit or animate the logo and do what ever else to add more emphasis? e.g. if Transformers was shot on red, would you allow them to make the RED logo transform into a transformer, without permission?

I would think that if your picture was big enough to get a film out and a publication deal there would be enough lawyers to fill the mariana trench asking these questions. It only says shot on red, it doesn't say endorsed by Red, go and see it.

Can we get "Shot on RED" in text style? The end roll that my client working on is limited to black and white (2bit) so the fancy color version don't work good.

I don't think they'd object to being equipment used on a shoot. They have absolutely no control over content and if they sell cameras to racists, pornographers, and people who make crappy films, well they also sell them to everyone else. This is not the "gun control" issue.

What is RED's position on use of the logo on business materials such as business cards websites etc where the company specializes in RED productions and/or post production?

Expect to hear from their Lawyers, rightly so they like to protect their trademark.
