Shot on Gemini: Super Vision | Matt Field

Here is a shot I did for a project with Heatwave Visual called Super Vision.

This one was featuring FormulaD driver Matt Field driving one of his favorite local roads in his drift car.

(Roads were closed with permit)

This was shot on a RED DSMC2 Gemini with a Sigma Art 50mm EF lens, sound recorded with Rode NTG4 on Sound Devices MixPre3. This was one of my first days shooting with my new Gemini and the camera nearly died haha. Matt's rear bumper was about 1cm from hitting the side handle on my Gemini, and I did get a few nicks on the filter on my Sigma 50mm, but the camera was completely unharmed.

Yeah the drone pilot is absolutely incredible. Really great pilot but also a great cinematographer.

Yeah I thought he hit the camera for sure, he just barely barely missed the side handle, I just put a UV filter on the lens and it did it's job and protected the front of the lens nicely.
