So I am on set and can not get my epic to jam to a 744t. We had issues before but it was a bad epic timecode cable so I did not think to check it again with this moxer. Had anyone had luck jamming a dragon to a 744t @ 23.98?

Update. Was able to use my laptop (and later my phone) to send out audio timecode and jam both the mixer and the Epic to the same timecode that way. But still no luck with jamming straight to the mixer. Even tried changing to 29.97 because I know that was an issue in the past. Any ideas?

Yes, it works fine. Get a new cable, and next time, do a camera test prior to the shoot to make sure everything works.

The issue is not the cable as I can jam both from another source. It's something obviously to do with my Dragon or the SD744t. But good to know you have gotten it to work.

Turns out it was the audio guy's cable , the 5 pin lemo to XLR. Evidently other cameras don't have an issue with his cable, buy my Dragon does. We tried my 5 pin lemo to BNC and it jammed right away.

When you use a Red camera it's NEVER the sound guys fault!

I have had cables fail, on the Camera Tc lemo connector.

Audio Department makes great cables, BTW

Thank you very much

There ya go. I generally brought three different cables just in case my custom one didn't work. Never had to use the other two, but they were there "just in case."
